Vacature Engineer


We are looking for a RAMS Engineer (E3) to join our Akkodis Aerospace team, working onsite at the European Space Agency in the Netherlands. Contribute to the definition of technology development requirements and work plans for the Agency's technology programmes; Support the maintenance of Agency and industry technical competence through the organization of training, symposia, workshops; Providing RAMS support to the Galileo Segments (Ground Segments and Space Segment) and to other Navigation projects (EGNOS, FutureNAV, R&D) in the review of RAMS analyses/reports in the frame of segment reviews and during other project milestones; Contributing to the preparation of Galileo System RAMS analyses and trade offs; Supporting/following the procurements of Ground Segment elements, including (when directly procured by ESA) the derivations of RAMS requirements into the element requirement baseline and their implementation/verification during the full element lifecycle; Supporting the collection of in-service data and their statistical processing. Master's degree in Safety, Systems Engineering or Aerospace is required. Automotive Excellent interpersonal skills are needed, together with a high degree organizational and communication abilities, and comfortable working in a diverse and multinational team environment. Knowledge of Configuration Management or the implementation of Product Assurance within a quality system certified to ISO 9001 would be an asset. The European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC), has grown into ESA's largest establishment and the technical and organizational hub of Europe's space sector.
