What Will You Do?

As a Proposal Engineer, you’ll be at the intersection of engineering and commerce, responsible for delivering accurate, well-structured technical and commercial proposals. Your tasks include:

• Translating customer requirements into feasible technical solutions and compelling proposals
• Preparing cost calculations, timelines, technical specs, and visual representations
• Coordinating closely with internal departments—Sales, Engineering, Procurement, and Project Management
• Liaising with domestic and international suppliers to ensure up-to-date and accurate proposal content
• Supporting the continuous improvement of proposal templates and internal tools
• Ensuring all proposals are technically sound, commercially viable, and tailored to client expectations

What Do You Bring?

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical, Power, or Mechanical Engineering
• Preferably several years of experience in a similar role within the backup power or energy sector
• Solid knowledge of generator and engine systems
• Strong analytical mindset and a detail-oriented approach
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar design software
• Comfortable working in a project-based environment
• Commercially aware with a collaborative working style
• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English
• Availability of 32 to 40 hours per week
