Reporting to Head of Operations the LEAN Officer is responsible for leading and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the facility using Lean Six Sigma methodologies. The role involves analysing operational data, facilitating improvement projects, and coaching staff to embed a culture of operational excellence and waste reduction while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Teamwork – One team, one goal. · Project Leadership: Lead and manage small-to-medium-scale Lean Six Sigma projects to drive measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, performance, and cost. Data Analysis: Collect, analyise, and interpret production data using statistical tools to identify root causes of process inefficiencies and defects. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders from Production, Quality, ( Process and Product) Engineering , and Supply Chain to execute projects and build engagement. Coaching & Training: Provide training and coaching to employees on Lean tools and methodologies (e.g., HACCP) into all continuous improvement projects, ensuring that all process enhancements maintain or improve product quality and safety. Maintain thorough project documentation, track the financial impact of improvements, and report progress to management.
Experience: Proven experience in a Continuous Improvement or Lean Manufacturing role, preferably within a fast-paced food or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) environment.
