Job Req Number: Time Type: Full Time Move forward as Freight Forwarder Import Groupage at DSV in Venlo Ready to make a difference? At DSV, you have the opportunity to play a crucial role in our import groupage team with your customer-focused and problem-solving skills. You get it done You are the main point of contact for planning and following up on import groupage shipments. You ensure that all transport movements are coordinated accurately and on time. In this role, you are a vital link between customers, carriers, and internal departments. You not only have a sharp eye for detail within our processes, but you also play an active role in the administrative handling of shipments: you’re on it. How you do this? By being quick to respond and always putting the customer first. You’re capable of juggling multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining oversight, even under pressure. With your strong communication skills and solution-oriented mindset, you are a valuable partner for both our customers and your colleagues in operations. You achieve this by:

maintaining customer contact, registering shipments, and accurately processing incoming transport documentation;
preparing and managing transport documentation, including the correct handling of customs-related documents;
creating transport orders, compiling files, and ensuring a smooth and timely execution;
analysing and resolving escalations, delays, or process errors, always aiming for the best possible outcome for our customers.

experience in transport and logistics is not required, as long as you have some experience in a customer-oriented role and the drive to learn. We will teach you all the ins and outs of the job;
you are collegial, communicative, and a self-starter;
strong proficiency in English, both spoken and written;
affinity with computer systems and the ability to quickly master new systems;
respect for norms and values and a positive attitude in a team setting.
