Regulatory Affairs Specialist – Feed & Animal Nutrition (Hybrid, Netherlands)
Do you know your way around feed legislation and thrive on streamlining export registrations? Join an international player in animal nutrition as our new Regulatory Affairs Specialist and help us keep products compliant across multiple regions.
What you’ll do
- Monitor and interpret regulatory changes in feed/animal nutrition that impact our operations, and translate them into clear actions.
- Own end-to-end product and site registration dossiers across assigned regions (from preparation to submission and follow-up).
- Drive continuous improvement of export-registration processes and internal compliance workflows.
- Collect and manage required documentation and certificates from internal/external stakeholders (suppliers, customers, authorities).
- Advise the business on regulatory and (animal) food safety risks and propose pragmatic solutions.
- Partner with commercial and technical teams to address customer/regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with relevant authorities, distributors, and key customers.
- Share best practices and collaborate with international colleagues to harmonize standards.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, (Animal) Nutrition, Food Safety/Quality, or similar.
- Several years of experience with EU feed/food legislation; global registration/export experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with NVWA and customs requirements in the Netherlands (experience with other markets is advantageous).
- Comfortable with ERP and documentation systems (e.g., JD Edwards, MS Office).
- Structured, accurate, and self-driven; able to manage multiple dossiers in parallel.
- Working knowledge of GMP+ and/or ISO 9001 is a plus.
- Excellent command of Dutch and English; additional languages are an advantage.
