As a pile driver you are the henchman of the machinist. Together you make sure that proceedings are done correctly and in a safe way. Early in the morning you’re driving of to work. After arriving you’ll meet the machinist and start building the scaffolding on the building site. When that’s done the real job starts. You help the machinist with the piles by giving him the necessary directions he needs to make sure the piles are placed on the correct place. Besides these activities you’ll also focus on doing some small maintenance and repair. The job is physically demanding and sometimes has long working days due to travelling. At the end of the week, when the job is done, you help with breaking down the scaffolding. You’ll load it into the truck make sure that all the material gets back safe at location to start a new job next week. We’re looking for employees who know what it takes to become a pile driver. You like working outside and like working in a small team.
