As a Product Compliance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that Segway Ninebot's products meet all legal, regulatory, and industry standards in the micromobility sector. You will work closely with cross-functional teams such as product development, legal, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs to ensure that our products are safe, reliable, and compliant when introduced into the market. Key Responsibilities: - Stay updated on all relevant laws, regulations, and directives affecting the micromobility industry in Europe, ensuring compliance with standards such as WEEE regulations. - Interpret and communicate the impact of regulatory changes on our product compliance efforts. - Determine the correct classification of products based on regulatory categories and industry-specific requirements. - Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, and testing teams to ensure products meet safety and quality standards during development and production. - Ensure compliance of product labeling, packaging, and instructions, including warnings, usage guidelines, and language requirements. - Manage the process of obtaining necessary certifications like CE marking, FCC approval, and other industry-specific certifications. - Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and work with relevant teams to implement risk mitigation strategies. - Maintain detailed records of compliance activities, test results, and certifications, providing regular updates to management and regulatory agencies. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance considerations throughout the product lifecycle. - Provide training and support to internal teams on product compliance requirements and best practices. - Respond effectively to incidents, recalls, or safety concerns in a timely manner. - Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the product compliance framework. - Serve as the primary point of contact for compliance querie
