Role Overview

You will build the best‑in‑class payment experience for our travelers. You will be a critical player to ensure the next phase of growth and transformation. This person will be a key member of the Booking.com Fintech Products Leadership team, accelerating the “connected trip” for Booking.com and ensuring travelers will have a choice on how and when they would like to pay.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own product strategy and vision for the Traveler Payments portfolio.
  • Manage product profitability & commercial success: develop business cases, set pricing strategy, monitor key financial targets.
  • Drive payments ecosystem partnerships: partner with commercial teams to negotiate with external partners such as PSPs, payment networks and value‑added services.
  • Drive market and customer insight: conduct continuous market research, competitive analysis and product discovery to identify new opportunities.
  • Own regulatory technology strategy and develop products to ensure compliance with global regulations.
  • Lead and mentor a high‑performing team of product managers, foster a culture of accountability and data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Executive communication and stakeholder alignment: liaison to senior leadership, present progress, secure budget investment.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration across engineering, design, marketing, operations, finance and more to ensure timely, high‑quality product execution.
  • Drive leadership development: empower senior team members and develop the next generation of product leaders.

Qualifications

  • Significant years of product leadership experience within high‑traffic sites (100 k+ visitors per day), preferably global e‑commerce or marketplace companies.
  • Minimum 5 years of subject‑matter expertise in the Fintech industry – market trends, PSPs, consumer payment solutions.
  • Experience coaching senior product managers, group product managers and building end‑to‑end experiences in sophisticated environments.
  • Proven experience aligning with senior management across business units and locations on payments compliance, fraud and legal.
  • Ability to balance strategy, product execution and people management; data‑driven and experimental.
  • Strong communication, influence and collaboration skills across multiple senior stakeholders within the company and external partners.
  • Passion for booking culture and customer‑centric mindset.
