Leading talent acquisition for Lineage in Europe

We are recruiting a General Manager to lead our flagship Vlissingen site. One of the largest and most complex facilities in Lineage’s European network. Located at the Port of Vlissingen, the site combines large-scale port operations, warehousing, and juice blending, supported by approximately 300 team members working across multiple functions.

Strategically positioned with direct access to deep-water terminals, Vlissingen enables seamless import and export for some of the world’s leading food brands. We are also currently working with the Port Authority to significantly expand capacity at the port; providing access for larger vessels and space to grow the site’s footprint, securing long-term success for Vlissingen.

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity with the autonomy to shape the site’s next chapter; driving operational excellence, safety, and cultural alignment within Lineage, while positioning Vlissingen as a cornerstone of our European growth.

The Role

As General Manager, you will be the most senior leader on site; accountable for overall performance, safety, culture, and customer satisfaction.

You’ll work closely with operational teams and central functions to deliver exceptional service, streamline processes, and embed Lineage systems and ways of working.

You’ll inspire and empower your leaders and teams to thrive in a fast-paced, safety-first environment; ensuring every colleague understands their impact on our customers and our global mission.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop your local management and their teams (approx. 300 team members plus flexible workers).
• Ensure exceptional service delivery across port operations, warehousing, blending, and logistics.
• Drive alignment with Lineage standards, systems, and values following recent integrations.
• Maintain the highest standards of safety, compliance, and quality.
• Own the site’s P&L and customer relationships, balancing commercial and operational goals.
• Use data and KPIs to drive performance, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

You’re a commercially astute, people-first leader who thrives in complex, multi-stream operations. You balance vision with pragmatism and are energised by leading transformation while maintaining day-to-day excellence.

• Experience leading large, multi-layered teams in logistics, manufacturing, or port operations.
• A proven record of P&L management and commercial acumen.
• Strong change management and integration experience.
• A data-driven mindset with a focus on performance and process improvement.
• Excellent relationship-building skills with customers and internal stakeholders.
• The ability to work on-site daily at the Port of Vlissingen.
