Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam City West has opened its doors in July 2018. The hotel is part of VEN, a unique complex in Amsterdam and a real addition to the city. By providing a 24/7 work and fun environment, VEN attracts curious visitors from all over the world. Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam City West is a design hotel that offers a wide range of experiences. Every colourful floor and all 476 hotel rooms are designed by world‑famous designer Karim Rashid. The restaurant, bar and lounge are located around the sunny Piazza, in the heart of the complex. The hotel covers 28,000 m², including the 2,500 m² Meeting & Events Academy with 19 flexible meeting rooms and networking spaces. The entire floor is dedicated to meetings, socialising, learning, sharing, networking and presenting. The 700 m² ballroom spans two floors and can seat up to 700 guests. The hotel and conference centre allows guests to work, sleep, eat, chat, swim, drink, meet, network, do business, sunbathe, relax, run, or just try their luck. VEN also offers a fitness and wellness centre, a restaurant, casino, apartments and much more.

Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam City West is a vibrant and colourful hotel and Amsterdam Congress Centre, featuring 476 rooms and 20 meeting rooms conveniently located next to Amsterdam Sloterdijk train station and easily reachable for both guests and team members by car and public transport. The hotel is designed by the renowned designer Karim Rashid. The hotel is part of the VEN complex, meaning it shares the building with Holland Casino, LimeHome apartments, World of Karaoke and Restaurant Azura. Job Requirements

• Preferably experience in a similar role in a large hotel
• Flexibility to work morning and evening shifts, including weekends and holidays
• You are proactive, stress‑resistant, quality‑focused, and have an eye for detail

Responsibilities

• Preparing dishes for the restaurant and meetings & events
• Performing preparatory tasks for all dishes
• Contributing to the innovation of dishes and menus with proactive ideas
• Assessing the quality and shelf life of ingredients and ensuring the quality of outgoing dishes
• Receiving, inspecting, and storing ordered food supplies
• Keeping the work area clean
• Guiding and training apprentice chefs
