What you get to do

  • Review and negotiate sales agreements for PaaS and SaaS with enterprise clients.
  • Advise senior executives on company policies, legal issues, and risk tolerance.
  • Collaborate with finance, sales operations, deal desk, product operations, support, security, and other departments to protect the company’s interests.
  • Provide input on templates and policies, ensuring consistency across the organization.
  • Occasional travel as required.

Qualifications

  • Accomplished IT contracts lawyer with significant in‑house experience at leading IT companies; law firm background with a leading IT practice is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of IT contracts, including I/P/SaaS contracts, software licenses, and the contractual implications of AI, cloud/hyperscalers, and industry‑impacting regulations (EBA, DORA, EU Data Act, NIS2).
  • Exceptional business judgment and strong influencing skills; confident in building trusted relationships with senior leaders.
  • Independent, self‑directed, and able to manage multiple complex matters with minimal oversight in a high‑growth environment.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills; fluent in English; additional language fluency (Dutch, Italian, Spanish, French) is a plus.
  • Fully qualified lawyer admitted to practice in an in‑house counsel role (civil law trained or dual‑qualified civil/common law).
  • Experience in international/EMEA‑wide settings, preferably including Southern EMEA and Middle East.
  • High energy, resilience, and a learning mindset.
