Solutions Architect — post-sales capacity focused on helping customers adopt and scale Snowflake as their central data platform.

We are looking for technology thought leaders who have a strong background in building data platforms and enjoy generating value by empowering data teams. You will work on challenging data projects in a post-sales capacity, helping customers on their data journey with Snowflake.

What we do

We are the Professional Services team of Snowflake, providing expert advisory services to our customers and helping them build enterprise solutions that shape their businesses. A customer journey may start with a migration project, or with a greenfield project where we teach and implement best practices for Snowflake and translate them to our customers’ use cases. We also support long-term engagements from initial setup to onboarding and deployment of hundreds of use cases. We strive to be our customers’ trusted technology advisors and maximise the value from their Snowflake investment.

What a Solutions Architect at Snowflake does

• Engage with several Snowflake customers
• Lead technical streams of client data platform implementations and onboarding efforts
• Collaborate with Customer Engagement and Delivery resources to ensure proper technical guidance, project management and functional support
• Collaborate with Engineering, Support, Sales and Marketing across Snowflake
• Help clients troubleshoot implementations and integrate the product within their ecosystem
• Identify, document, triage and track issues to ensure resolution
• Contribute to growth and scalability of Delivery and Training teams through documentation, process optimization, and cross-training
• Apply industry/domain/technology expertise to client implementations
• Gather product feedback from customers to inform new features and capabilities

What we are looking for

We seek people with a strong track record in building best-in-class cloud data platforms and strong consulting skills. Our Architects typically have 12+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role with working experience in the following areas:

• Distributed systems and massively parallel processing technologies (Snowflake, Teradata, Spark, Databricks, Hadoop, Oracle, SQL Server) and performance optimization
• Data strategies and methodologies (Data Mesh, Data Vault, Data Fabric, Data Governance, Data Management, Enterprise Architecture)
• Data organization and modeling concepts (Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Medallion architecture, Kimball dimensional modeling, 3NF normalization)
• Cloud infrastructure concepts (AWS, Azure), IaaS/PaaS, Networking, Security, Encryption, IAM, Disaster Recovery
• Data Engineering concepts and frameworks (batch/stream processing, replication, SQL, DBT, Talend, Informatica, Python, Snowpark, PySpark, DataFrames, storage formats such as Parquet, Avro, Iceberg, Delta Lake), Orchestration and DevOps
• Business Intelligence and analytics tools (Tableau, PowerBI, MicroStrategy, ThoughtSpot, SAS, Streamlit) and techniques (time series analysis, advanced SQL, statistical analysis)
• AI/ML fundamentals (classification, regression, clustering, dimensionality reduction, NLP and language models)

Our ideal candidate helps bring structure and clarity in complex, evolving environments and can lead engagements with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Industry experience in Financial Services, Retail, or Healthcare & Life Sciences is a plus.

We have a flexible remote work policy. Presence in the office once a week is expected, with occasional travel across EMEA to support customer projects or marketing events.
