With a strong presence in Amsterdam and a commitment to digital transformation, they are seeking a Head of Engineering to lead their new customer facing application team.

Role

As Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of the engineering department, fostering a culture of excellence, and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing platforms. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Data, and Operations, to ensure our technology supports business growth and customer success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers and technical leads.
• Define and execute the engineering road map aligned with business goals.
• Champion best practices in software development, architecture, and DevOps.
• Drive innovation in financial technology, including AI, cloud, and cybersecurity.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align technology strategy with company vision.

What We\'re Looking For

• Proven experience in leading engineering teams in fast-paced environments.
• Strong background in software architecture, cloud infrastructure, and agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Experience in financial services or fin-tech is a strong plus.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Amsterdam.
