Director of Business Development

A pioneering climate tech start-up is seeking a / Business Development or Sales Director, Europe to lead commercial expansion and leadership across the continent.

The business are fast-growing, forward thinking climate tech start-up, on a mission to electrify industry —replacing fossil‑fuelled heat in manufacturing/industrial processes, with clean, sustainable renewable energy.

Their proprietary technology enables industrial customers to decarbonize high-temperature processes without sacrificing reliability or cost-effectivity.

Are you a dynamic, strategic, and hands‑on Sales Director, Europe capable to lead commercial growth across the continent at the helm of this exciting business?

What You’ll Do:

• Build, own and execute the European sales strategy to drive market penetration.
• Lead and grow a high‑performing sales team from the ground up.
• Drive customer acquisition and manage key industrial partnerships
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to align product and market needs
• Represent the company at industry events and negotiate complex deals
• Negotiate and close multi‑million dollar contracts and financing partnerships

What You’ll Bring:

• 10+ years in industrial B2B sales, 5+ in leadership
• Experience building and leading sales teams.
• Proven success in complex, multi‑million dollar sales environments
• Experience in Energy Storage, industrial heating, energy systems, or project development
• Strategic mindset, CRM fluency, and strong interpersonal skills
