The Treasury team at Van Lanschot Kempen manages liquidity and investment portfolios, develops and sells structured products, advises on currency matters, and optimises funding strategies. The team combines deep market knowledge with risk management, model development, and regulatory compliance to strengthen the organisation’s financial position and contribute to positive results.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing the strategy and objectives for the Treasury domain in line with Van Lanschot Kempen’s bank-wide strategy;
• Optimising liquidity and capital structures;
• Leading and coaching the Treasury team, ensuring the execution of the Performance Management Cycle in accordance with HR policy. You will also analyse the current team and contribute to succession planning and talent development;
• Providing both solicited and unsolicited advice to the Executive Board on treasury-related matters, and identifying and reporting treasury-related issues in a timely manner;
• Ensuring that the product features of Treasury offerings align optimally with the needs and expectations of both internal and external clients;
• Participating in the committee that sets key commercial rates for clients;
• Chairing and participating in the Benchmark Action Committee, which oversees compliance with the Benchmark Regulation within the organisation;
• Reviewing, approving, and submitting financial and management reports related to Treasury activities in a timely manner.

In addition, you bring:

• At least 10 years of experience in Treasury or a comparable strategic financial role, preferably within the banking sector;
• Proven experience in leading professionals and successfully translating and implementing strategic objectives;
• A completed academic degree; relevant certifications such as CFA, CTP, or an MBA are a plus;
• Experience in capital markets, liquidity management, portfolio management, and regulatory reporting is an advantage;
• Knowledge of fixed income instruments, FX trading, derivatives, and structured products is a plus
• Excellent command of the English language; good command of Dutch is a plus.

• A gross monthly salary between €15,000 and €20,000, depending on your knowledge and experience.
• Unlimited holiday allowance.

• A competitive pension scheme. The exact contribution is based on age and salary; in most cases, you can expect a contribution of around 20%, of which 4% is employee contribution.
