Position Overview
Join Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts as a Demi Chef de Partie and deliver exceptional culinary experiences across Peacock Alley restaurant, room dining, and banquets.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present high quality dishes within company guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and prevent cross contamination in all working areas.
- Execute mis‑en‑place preparations for all relevant menus.
- Respond to guest queries efficiently and positively.
- Ensure food items quality and correct storage.
- Contribute to cost control, gross profit improvement, and departmental financial targets.
- Assist other departments and maintain strong working relationships.
- Report maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues.
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health, safety and food safety legislation.
- Awareness of departmental targets and strive to achieve them as part of the team.
- Be environmentally aware.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
- NVQ Level 2.
- Positive attitude.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work independently or within a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3.
- Previous kitchen experience in a similar role.
