Demi Chef de Partie (Main Kitchen)


Position Overview

Join Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts as a Demi Chef de Partie and deliver exceptional culinary experiences across Peacock Alley restaurant, room dining, and banquets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present high quality dishes within company guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and prevent cross contamination in all working areas.
  • Execute mis‑en‑place preparations for all relevant menus.
  • Respond to guest queries efficiently and positively.
  • Ensure food items quality and correct storage.
  • Contribute to cost control, gross profit improvement, and departmental financial targets.
  • Assist other departments and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Report maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues.
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health, safety and food safety legislation.
  • Awareness of departmental targets and strive to achieve them as part of the team.
  • Be environmentally aware.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • NVQ Level 2.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently or within a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3.
  • Previous kitchen experience in a similar role.
