Overview
Lead Power Quality, EMC & Electromagnetic Transients at TenneT. You chair the team responsible for policy on voltage quality, EMC and electromagnetic transients, ensuring compliance with connection codes and contributing to a reliable and sustainable energy system.
Responsibilities
- Lead the EPN-SI-N-PEE team (11 grid strategists) and collaborate with the Teamlead EPN-SI-N to develop and verify policy and compliance in the areas of voltage quality, EMC and electromagnetic transients.
- Drive the compliance verificationprocess by increasing throughput: ensure timely delivery of network data, review reports, and closely cooperate with Grid Planning and Customers and Markets.
- Motivate, inspire and coach team members; balance technical depth with team development and leadership.
- Develop robust, consistent policy for the technically complex energy transition, in close collaboration with the EPN-SI-N team.
- Streamline participation in PMP to meet IT-related needs of the team; promote knowledge transfer within the team.
- Perform performance management: set goals, monitor progress and evaluate performance; contribute to the department plan (objectives, staffing, budget).
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g., IT department BTO and operating units) and external partners (e.g., ProRail and Gasunie) on policy and processes.
- Participate in the Grid Planning and System Integrity management teams as applicable.
Jouw profiel en achtergrond
- Experience leading highly skilled technical professionals; motivated, analytical, result-oriented, decisive, well-organized, communicative and strategically minded.
- Proven expertise in development of electricity networks with focus on voltage quality, EMC and electromagnetic transients.
- Completed electrical engineering degree, preferably with specialization in energy technology; relevant certifications or trainings are a plus.
- Ability to handle technically complex subjects effectively and communicate at multiple levels.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, written and spoken.
