Japanese Speaking Regulatory and Quality Officer
We are looking for a Japanese-speaking Regulatory and Quality Officer to support our sales team in the UK and EU, maintain compliance, and provide administrative support.
Responsibilities
- Provide general support to the sales team and sales manager, communicating with sales representatives in the UK and EU via email and telephone.
- Assist the director with regulatory, quality and pharmacovigilance tasks to maintain local compliance.
- Support general office administration, manage and arrange shipments with the Japanese delivery team.
- Develop client relationships, attend appointments, interviews, store visits, and business events as required.
- Provide full administrative support to the Managing Director and team members in all aspects of the team’s functions.
- Handle telephone, email and post enquiries, liaising with relevant staff members.
- Carry out other reasonable duties as requested by the line manager or senior management.
Qualifications
- University degree level or equivalent.
- Understanding of Japanese business customs and ability to act on the company’s philosophy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Japanese.
- Excellent communication across the organization, including headquarters.
- Ability to manage scheduled sales activities.
- Skilled with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Ability to support the brand, handle walk‑in sales flexibly and positively.
- Understanding of and support for regulatory, quality, and pharmacovigilance requirements in the UK and EU.
