Senior Director Global Product Strategy - Operations (GPS)


Overview

Senior Director Global Product Strategy - Operations (GPS) at Teva Pharmaceuticals. The newly created Global Product Strategy (GPS) Team is accountable for the long-term strategic vision and commercial strategy for Teva’s neurology and immunology portfolio of innovative medicines—translating scientific innovation into long-term brand and business value. As Senior Director of Global Commercial Operations, you will link strategic development to operational excellence with our key internal stakeholders. You will be accountable for leading the global business planning cycle and key internal and external milestones for our innovation medicines, working in collaboration with the leadership team, as well as R&D, BD and commercial regions. You lead the evolution of the team\'s capabilities and global processes, promoting agility, accountability, and smart decision-making. This role can be based out of Parsippany, NJ or the Netherlands (Haarlem). Travel Requirements: Approximately up to 20% travel to support key meetings and cross-functional planning.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with R&D, BD, and regional leaders to streamline governance and accelerate portfolio growth.
  • Serve as secretariat for the GPS Leadership Team, Innovation Medicines Steering Committee, and Innovation Commercial Committee—ensuring meetings are purposeful, aligned, and well-executed.
  • Lead the Annual Business Planning process, including the refresh of global brand plans for key assets.
  • Design and implement a streamlined, inclusive planning process that engages key functions and regions.
  • Develop and embed Launch Excellence best practices in collaboration with Global Commercial TA leads, including external benchmarking.
  • Coordinate global commercial input for quarterly investor meetings.
  • Lead preparation of the Global Commercial Strategy QBR and other executive management deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or other advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in commercial, marketing, or sales leadership roles, including significant people leadership.
  • Proven track record of developing strategies that drive long-term commercial success.
  • Recent experience in a Tier 1 market (US or EU5) preferred, ideally within the last 5 years.
  • Senior marketing experience in a market or LOC, preferably as a launch lead with global stakeholder collaboration.
  • Experience across multiple therapeutic areas; experience leading complex global projects is preferred.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong track record of performance delivery.
  • Recognized expert with deep knowledge of best practices and current market trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and develop talent.
  • Operates with autonomy and accountability in a global matrix environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
