Senior Software Engineer (Go)

The role

The role will be focused on backend development. You'll focus on delivering product features, developing backend APIs, and collecting data and ingestion services.

The team

Our tech team is based in Amsterdam, where most of us work 2 days a week onsite. We are a lean team of 10 senior engineers and 4 colleagues in Product and Design. Together, we operate efficiently and pragmatically, where everyone’s voice is heard. We are rapidly scaling so there's plenty of room to have a big impact and set directions. Apart from a short daily stand‑up we keep meetings to a minimum. We do a monthly tech‑team social event on Tuesday evenings that you are welcome to join.

Your experience

• 5 years of software development
• 3 years Go
• Deep Go knowledge, familiar with best practices and standards
• Experienced using PostgreSQL or similar SQL databases
• Experienced deploying Go applications on cloud platforms
• API and SaaS backend web app development
• Data scraping, aggregation, processing, and ingestion

Bonus if you have

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tooling, such as Terraform or Pulumi
• Experience with data pipelines and large‑scale data aggregation
• Experience in FinTech, economics, or private equity
• An interest in GenAI (we have shipped multiple features and have many more in the pipeline)
