Our Lelystad site is expanding and will soon be the largest logistics hub in the Netherlands—and we’re looking for ambitious Warehouse Managers to help us build a world-class operation. In this role, you’ll lead high-performing teams, optimize logistics, and work closely with our customer to ensure smooth, efficient operations. Responsibilities

• Planning the weekly workload, establishing priorities to achieve the set goals
• Organize to ensure the process runs smoothly and in accordance with KPI targets
• Provide training and assessments to their teams; conduct performance evaluations
• Ensure compliance with rates and set up any corrective actions as required
• Analyse and coordinate procedures between areas and departments
• Ensure compliance with internal safety regulations (AEO) and those from ORP/OSHAS
• Represent GXO Logistics toward our customer on their demands and opportunities to support their business
• Bring value to our customer with proactive initiatives and process improvements to increase quality, safety, inventory, and lead-time
• Focus on continuous improvement techniques, quality/ISO management processes, productivity improvement, and cost control within operations
• Resolve issues, determine root cause, and implement solutions
• Supervise and develop staff in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable law

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree/HBO in related fields preferred
• Min 2 years of experience in the logistics sector, preferably warehousing
• Leadership & coaching experience > 3 years with >40 FTE
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Knowledge of Dutch and Spanish is an advantage
• Advanced level of Visual Basic is desirable; flexibility, proactiveness and initiative
• Clear and direct communication skills
• Pro-active, solution-driven approach
• People-oriented management style with ability to motivate and drive high performance
• Ability to prioritize projects vs operational needs
• LEAN/5S/Six Sigma qualifications are desirable
• Flexibility – this is not always a 9-5 environment
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
