BU IT Lead

Position Overview

As a Business Unit IT Lead you will be accountable for overseeing all IT matters for a respective Business Unit from future planning to daily operations. You will drive commercial and business development activities in tenders and customer-facing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Act as an IT Business Partner for respective Business Units – keep oversight of IT matters for respective entities
• Lead IT business development activities, including the delivery of RFQ/tender response and related solution proposition including cost estimates in relation to business case
• Work with business on creation and conceptualization of new ideas, projects, plans and initiatives. Translate these into required IT solutions
• Manage IT representation in front of customers and business
• Monitor emerging and market trends; inject innovation into business areas
• Build optimal working relationship with customers and business entities
• Drive organizational change in line with strategy. Co‑drive IT Management Team agenda and Business IT Lead agenda
• Contribute to IT product management

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in computer science, business or a comparable discipline
• Good knowledge of WMS systems at conceptual functional level
• Minimum of 7 years’ management experience in a complex, high demanding and fast‑paced international environment, preferably in Supply Chain industry
• Excellent knowledge in English language, oral and written. Dutch language skills preferred.
