Solution Architect – NodeJS

Join our Cognizant Digital Engineering team as a senior architect with 12–15 years of experience in Node.js, React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and HTML5, working in a hybrid model.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Architect to design and implement scalable cloud solutions using AWS serverless architecture (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.). The role requires proactive collaboration with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑performance, responsive web applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable web applications, ensuring fast and reliable performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to transform ideas into features.
• Utilize AWS serverless architecture to build secure and resilient cloud solutions.
• Develop reusable libraries and maintain consistency across projects.
• Embed security, compliance, and best practices into all solutions.
• Lead code reviews, mentorship, and team learning initiatives.
• Resolve technical challenges swiftly to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to create intuitive interfaces using Tailwind CSS, React.js, and Material UI.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and drive innovation in development processes.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of experience in software development and architecture.
• Proficiency in Node.js, React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, HTML5.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS serverless architecture and related services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and DevOps tools.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead and mentor teams.
