As a Facilities & Maintenance Technician, you'll ensure the continuous availability of our systems and machinery and realize the technical advances essential to our success. As a Facilities & Maintenance Technician, you'll be the key player in keeping our EMEA distribution center operational and improving it. You'll be responsible for minimizing production downtime and maximizing output. You'll translate technical challenges into practical solutions and ensure a safe and efficient work environment. Your core responsibilities include:

Maintenance and Troubleshooting: You'll analyze and resolve electrical and mechanical malfunctions in our production equipment, such as PTL picking lines and packaging machines, labeling machines, and building-related installations (HVAC, plumbing).
Prevention and Optimization: You'll perform timely preventive maintenance and ensure consistent administrative processing. Preventing downtime is your most important mission.
Innovation and advice: You proactively initiate improvement proposals for our technical and building-related installations. You also advise on the purchase of new machinery and materials.
Coordination and support: You maintain contact with external suppliers and technicians, guide them through inspections and repairs, and ensure safety, hygiene, and correct execution.

 

To be successful in this crucial role, you have a solid technical foundation and a passion for innovation. 

• A completed vocational (MBO) degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics.
• Demonstrable experience with PTL picking lines, labeling, and packaging machines, preferably within an FMCG environment.
• You hold a VCA certificate and the legally required certificates for working on electrical installations (NEN3140 Competent Person).
• Knowledge of and experience troubleshooting measurement and control technology, including HVAC systems. 
• You are able to speak Dutch (at least A2 level) and English at a professional level
• Yo are proficiant with MS Office.
