Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Laboratory Technician to join a high-performing quality testing team. This role focuses on preparing samples and essential materials for laboratory analysis, ensuring accurate and timely results. The position is suited for individuals who enjoy structured processes, precision work, and contributing to quality assurance in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

• Prepare and process plant samples for quality testing
• Perform serial dilutions and plate samples accurately
• Assist in setting up bio assays when required
• Prepare media, buffers, and antibiotics for laboratory use
• Support the team when there are outstanding tasks
• Maintain inventory of laboratory materials and controls

Requirements

• Completed MBO-4 or HBO education in a biology-related discipline (anything higher will be immediately rejected)
• 2+ years experience in a laboratory setting
• Knowledge of quality management systems
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Proactive mindset with attention to detail and process improvement
