Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for business-to-business sales of the comprehensive food portfolio in selected markets in Europe. You will be actively involved in both direct sales and the coordination of distribution partners. You will maintain existing customer relationships, establish new contacts, and continuously expand the sales channels in your region, while constantly monitoring the raw materials markets. You will confidently lead sales processes to a successful conclusion. Based on systematic market and competition observation, you will analyze potential and develop and implement effective, forward-looking sales strategies. Working closely with the technical department and other sales areas, including customer service, you will be responsible for contract management, forecasting, and planning and controlling sales, revenue, and contribution margins in your region. Based on your successfully completed (technical) university degree (e.g., food technology or (bio)chemistry), you have several years of professional experience in the international sales of products requiring explanation, ideally in the food industry. In addition to application technology know-how and business expertise, you are characterized by your strong team and business orientation, initiative, interpersonal skills, and perseverance. You are well connected, confident in margin-oriented competition, and achieve sustainable negotiation success with flexibility and a solution-oriented approach. Fluency in English and basic knowledge in German is required, as is a willingness to travel on business. The position can largely be performed remotely. Occasional attendance at the headquarters in Lower Saxony is required for sales meetings (approx. once or twice a month).
