A versatile role for a strategic self-starter who thrives on data, structure, and growth — and wants to play a key part in the professionalization and international expansion of Europe’s fastest-growing e-commerce platform in the renewable energy sector.
As E-Commerce Platform Specialist, you are responsible for the optimal performance and further development of Search4solar’s B2B marketplace. Working closely with the management team, you define the strategic roadmap and coordinate the implementation of new features, integrations, and automations together with external software partners.
You’ll work with Shopify Plus, Webkul, HubSpot, and Exact, playing a key role in building integrations, automations, and data-driven growth across the platform.
Take end-to-end ownership of the further development and growth of the e-commerce platform, in close collaboration with the MT
Maintain and optimize the Shopify Plus backend (product structures, categories, filters)
Support vendors with product uploads via Webkul, CSV imports, or Excel templates
Review and enhance product data (pricing, specifications, visuals)
Contribute ideas for digitalization and AI applications, such as automated vendor onboarding and intelligent product feeds

A young, ambitious team with short decision lines and room for your own ideas
Location: based either in The Netherlands (Barendrecht) or Spain (Valencia) and/or hybride
At least 3 years of experience with Shopify Plus or a similar e-commerce platform
Strong knowledge of product feeds, CSV imports, API integrations, and data quality
Analytical, structured, and communicative — able to collaborate across teams
Experience in an e-commerce or marketplace environment
Excellent command of English; proficiency in Dutch, German or Spanish is an advantage
