Join Avantor as a HR Manager – Netherlands
Location: Hybrid (Netherlands) | Team Size Supported: ~300 employees across 5 sites | Language Requirements: Fluent in Dutch & English
We are seeking a HR Manager who is deeply experienced in all aspects of general HR matters. This role provides both operational and strategic HR support for all 300 employees located across 5 business sites. You have a central role in running the people processes for your group of clients: managers, associates, and other stakeholders who support them. You act as a solid advisor towards people managers and help them better identifying solutions for their team members.
MAJOR JOB DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES
- Support the HR transformation into a new operating model
- Liaise with the works council and lead consultation process (advies- en instemmingsverzoeken)
- Proactively supports the deliverance of all the HR Processes associated with the employee life cycle
- Build strong relationships with internal clients and the wider HR team within the Europe, the COE's and HR Solutions (TA, Payroll, HRIS and HR SSC)
- Support and partner with People Managers to lead Avantor associates in line with the Avantor ICARE values and help People Managers to lead Avantor associate in line with HR best practices.
- Absence management in line with the Wet Poortwachter
- Take responsibility for supporting line managers with all casework issues of employees
- Support employee engagement by following up on department action plans from the bi-annual survey
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- 5 years previous experience of working in a professional HR services environment
- A HR professional who will support their client group and partners with the business to enable and support the business to deliver results
- Be able to demonstrate experience of managing a large caseload including complex cases up to and including dismissal across a full range of ER matters
- A positive individual who has a “can do” attitude.
- Value the importance of data and being able to analyze the data and identify the insights to potential areas for improvement.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to present to groups across all areas of the organization, including Senior Management
- Solid knowledge of Dutch Employment Law
