As an Order Picker (EPT), you are responsible for the incoming and outgoing flow of goods. To ensure the activities in the expedition department run as efficiently as possible, you maintain continuous contact with your colleagues and supervisors. Your tasks include:
Unloading incoming goods using an electric pallet truck and performing the associated incoming inspection;
Preparing goods for shipment using a scale, scanner, and computer;
Loading prepared goods using an electric pallet truck and performing the associated outgoing inspection.
You will work day shifts from Monday to Friday. You must be available for two different working hours: 07:00 to 16:00 and 09:30 to 18:30. Working hours are scheduled in consultation.
Your new employer purchases chilled and frozen meat from the United States, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile, Thailand, Australia, and New Zealand. From these countries, they import beef, lamb, pork, and poultry, which they supply to customers throughout the European Union, Switzerland, Norway, and the United Arab Emirates.
Within each product group, they offer a wide assortment tailored to the needs of a large variety of customers. In addition to imported products, they also produce portioned steaks and hamburgers, as well as a broad range of pre-cut products. Their customers include multinationals such as Unilever, cash & carry companies like Makro and Sligro, supermarkets like Albert Heijn and Picnic, hospitality suppliers, meat processing companies, and meal manufacturers.
