Racket Stringing Specialist

Are you passionate about racketsports and skilled in racket stringing? Do you enjoy precision work and love helping customers? Decathlon’s Circular Team in Tilburg is looking for a motivated stringer

WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US

As racket stringing specialist (in dutch: racket bespanner), you are an expert who has product knowledge and you know how to string several rackets. Communication with our stores is also part of your work, because they will sometimes ask for advice and like to stay informed about the state of products.
A product that you have handled will return to the store in perfect condition, making for a happy customer! Rackets we for example repair:

• Tennis
• Badminton
• Squash

Our technicians in the national Decathlon Service Center repair our customers' sport products. As racket stringing specialist, you will not only string rackets at our circular center, but you also advise our shops on technical questions and share your knowledge with colleagues!

DAILY WORK AT A GLANCE

With support from experienced team leads, you’ll be responsible for:

• Stringing racquets using 2- and 4-knot techniques
• Preparing rackets: changing grommets, adding grips, etc.
• Organizing and handling daily service orders efficiently
• Providing expert advice and excellent service to our customers

Our team is an international group of people who carry out all different repairs for the sport products. Gradually, everyone finds their own specialization and we expect the same from you. Everyone can work independently, but with difficult issues we work together to find a solution. The team has its own manager (we like to say; leader) who takes care of planning, training and technical assistance!

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

• You love to do sports!
• Solid experience in racket stringing
• Strong attention to detail and precision
• Responsible, organized and customer-oriented
• Good knowledge of tennis and other racketsports
• You have the nationality of one of the EU countries and live in a 30 km radius of your circular center in Tilburg
• Available 32-38 hours
• You need a valid visa/work permit to work for us

WORKING HOURS

No late shifts, no weekend shifts: the repair team works Monday to Friday, from 8.30 till 17.00
