The opportunity:
This is a pivotal role in shaping the logistics infrastructure of a newly established global organisation. As Procurement Manager - Logistics, you'll lead procurement strategy for warehousing, ocean freight, and related logistics categories across Europe, Australia and New Zealand. It's a hands-on, high-impact position at the heart of a major transition - stabilising supply chains, building supplier partnerships, and redefining how the business operates post-separation from its parent company.
We're looking for someone available to start immediately and ready to take ownership from day one in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
What you'll do:
Lead sourcing and procurement for warehousing, ocean freight, freight-in/out, pallets and embellishment across multiple regions.
Manage and develop a team of three procurement professionals based in Amsterdam.
Design and execute sourcing strategies that deliver value, continuity and sustainability.
Build supplier relationships, oversee tenders and contracting, and ensure cost, quality and service improvement.
Support the network redesign - defining warehouse locations, selecting partners, and managing TSA transitions.
Drive structure and governance within a newly formed, fast-moving organisation.
Travel occasionally across Europe (typically 1-2 days per month).
What you'll bring:
Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or Business.
Minimum 5 years' experience in Supply Chain, Warehousing or Logistics, with at least 3 years in Procurement (ideally NPS or Logistics).
Broad category expertise across warehousing, freight, pallets and embellishment, with strong ocean freight knowledge essential.
Experience within a large, global, matrix organisation; comfortable navigating complex stakeholder networks.
Proven ability to manage or mentor others; leadership experience preferred but not essential.
Energetic, flexible and resilient - thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous, build-from-scratch environment.
Excellent English communication skills; other European languages an advantage.
Based in the Netherlands (non-negotiable).
