About this Position An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our Global Trade department within Henkel's Finance Tax Group in Amsterdam. In your role as EU Global Trade Export Controls & Sanctions Manager you will work with internal and external partners to ensure Trade compliance while pro-actively advising and supporting the business. The successful candidate will be a team player with strong communication skills able to effectively implement Export Controls & Sanctions compliance requirements into business processes. What you´ll do
Be part of a team of highly motivated Global Trade specialists in different regions that work together to further develop and communicate the Export Controls & Sanctions program for Henkel Global Supply Chain & other Henkel entities
Manage projects to streamline export operations, with a specific focus on Export Controls & Sanctions, technology and digital developments
Monitor legislative developments, adjust procedures and advise appropriate parties
Develop and maintain training programs for business partners involved in Export Controls & Sanctions matters
Further develop & manage relationships with Authorities, internal stakeholders and external agencies
Represent the Global Trade Department on strategic projects with cross-functional and cross-regional teams

What makes you a good fit
Higher degree in Law, International Trade, Supply Chain or equivalent experience
At least 5 years of relevant Export Controls & Sanctions compliance management experience within a multinational, Authorities, or a big4 consultancy firm / law firm
Excellent understanding of EU Export Controls & Sanctions regulations; experience with IT, technology and software controls as well as US export controls (EAR, OFAC) is a strong plus
A solid understanding and high interest for digital developments in the field of Export Controls & Sanctions as well as
Trade & Customs; SAP GTS knowledge is a plus
Fluent proficiency in English is a must, Dutch and/or German is a plus
Excellent communication and team building skills
Strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset, experience with project management Good time management, results oriented, can-do attitude
Proven ability to work in an international and culturally diverse environment.
