E&I Inspector

Airswift are supporting a Leading TSO In the Offshore Industry and we are looking for a E&I Inspector to support on a contract basis until 2028.

Main responsibilities will be to carry out quality inspections across the Electrical & Instrumentation systems for large-scale EPCI projects in the offshore and energy sectors.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting quality inspections on E&I systems, including cabling, terminations, panel installations, and FATs.
• Reviewing compliance with Employer’s Requirements, ITPs, and subcontractor quality deliverables.
• Performing risk-based inspections and monitoring vendor packages through frequent travel to construction sites.
• Managing quality-related documentation, including as-built records, punch lists, NCRs, and vendor quality reports.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure alignment and effective communication during inspections.

Qualifications:

• HBO or WO degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or related fields preferred.
• experience in Offshore Oil & Gas, Renewables, or Power Transmission industries.
• Proficient in creating and implementing QCPs and ITPs per project requirements.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and codes (IEC, NEN, NEC, ATEX, API, EN).
• Certified in E&I Quality Inspection (e.g., CompEx, ATEX) with expertise in inspecting HV/MV/LV panels, transformers, control systems, and related equipment.
