About The Role
The HR Talent Process Manager is responsible for overseeing, optimizing, and managing end-to-end talent processes within the organization, with a specific focus on performance management, employee development, compensation and benefits, and internal communication.
This role is pivotal in designing and executing strategies to attract, develop, retain, and reward talent while ensuring alignment with the company’s overall goals and culture.
Objective of the Role and Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, implementation, and management of the performance management system.
- Manage performance appraisals, ensuring clear communication of goals, expectations, and feedback.
- Coordinate the annual Management by Objectives (MBO) process, setting and tracking measurable goals for employees at all levels.
- Collaborate with managers to provide guidance on performance evaluations and improvement plans.
- Ensure the alignment of individual performance goals with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Lead initiatives aimed at employee development, including career pathing, leadership development, and upskilling.
- Work closely with the Learning & Development team to design training programs tailored to the organization’s needs.
- Manage succession planning to ensure readiness of future leaders and talent continuity.
- Oversee the compensation strategy, ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness.
- Manage the annual salary review and bonus processes, including performance-related pay adjustments.
- Collaborate with the finance and HR teams to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting for compensation and benefits.
- Monitor compensation trends and market benchmarking to maintain competitive positioning.
- Lead internal communication efforts related to HR policies, processes, and initiatives, ensuring clarity and consistency across the organization.
- Draft, update, and implement HR policies, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure transparent communication of changes in policies, compensation, and benefits, fostering a culture of openness and trust.
- Drive initiatives to increase employee engagement and satisfaction, while addressing key factors in turnover reduction.
- Work closely with HR Business Partners, department heads, and senior leadership to understand and address talent management needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align HR initiatives with broader company objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in Human Resources or related field
- 5+ years’ experience in Human Resources, preferably in multinational, fast-paced, and matrix organizations
- Proven experience in performance management, talent development, succession planning, and compensation management (salary reviews, bonus process, etc.)
- Experience designing and implementing HR policies, processes, and HR systems
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and change management initiatives
- Experience in monitoring and reporting HR KPIs, performance metrics, and market compensation trends.
- Knowledge of HR systems (i.e. BambooHR) and tools for performance management, learning, and compensation
- Ability to analyze workforce data to support strategic HR initiatives
- Capability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines
- Knowledge of local and international HR laws and regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Process-oriented mindset with high attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively across countries and business units
- High level of integrity, confidentiality and data privacy awareness
Languages: Dutch and English Fluent (written and spoken); Italian will be considered a plus
Place of work: Amsterdam (on-site, 5 days a week at the office); extensive travelling could be required
