Senior Mechanical Engineering Technician – Powering a Fossil-Free Future

Help drive the energy transition by keeping our advanced installations running safely and efficiently. As a Senior Mechanical Engineering Technician, you’ll perform preventive and corrective maintenance on turbines, boilers, valves, and pipes that keep the Netherlands supplied with clean energy.

What you’ll do

Maintain and optimize mechanical systems across power generation sites
Work independently and with partners to ensure reliability and safety
Identify and implement improvements in performance, planning, and cost
Share your expertise to strengthen the team and modernize processes

What you bring

MBO-4 / HBO-AD Mechanical Engineering degree
Experience with turbines, rotating equipment, and high-pressure systems
Safety certifications (VCA-VOL) and a proactive attitude
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
