Freelance Business Process Owner ERP - Finance


About the End Client


Our end client operates globally. Within this international organization, streamlining internal processes and systems is essential.
The client is now fully focused on strengthening its internal Center of Excellence (CoE) - where specialists from Finance, Supply Chain, HR and Projects collaborate to optimize processes across the entire project lifecycle. The Role


For the CoE, we are looking for an Interim Business Process Owner (BPO) Finance who can elevate Finance processes to the next level and lead a team of specialized Finance Business Process Experts (BPEs).
As the BPO, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing a team of 8 to 12 internal Business Process Experts (plus several external specialists).
  • Optimizing Finance processes within an international project-driven organization.
  • Establishing structure, priorities, and clear ownership within the Finance domain.
  • Collaborating closely with BPOs from the other three CoE divisions.
  • Acting as the link between Finance, Operations and Project Management.
  • Serving as a sparring partner for senior stakeholders.

Required Profile


We are looking for an experienced professional with a solid financial foundation and strong change management capabilities. Minimum Requirements:

  • Background as Controller, Finance Manager, Accountant (RA) or similar.
  • Experience with international ERP implementations or optimization projects.
  • Experience leading ERP Finance specialists.
  • Strong communication skills (English required).
  • Availability to work at least 3 days per week onsite in South Holland .
Nice to Have (Major Plus):
  • Experience in project-driven environments


Location: South Holland
Onsite Requirement: 3 days per week onsite, 2 days remote
Language: English required (Dutch is a plus)
Start Date: As soon as possible
