Senior Systems Engineer - Cloud & Infrastructure

We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer with deep expertise in cloud technologies and enterprise infrastructure to design, maintain, and scale mission-critical systems for one of the leading logistics organizations in the U.S. This role is pivotal in ensuring high availability, security, and performance across a complex, distributed environment. Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure Management
  Architect, deploy, and optimize large-scale environments across Azure and AWS , ensuring cost efficiency, scalability, and resilience.

• Enterprise Systems Administration
  Manage Office 365 ecosystem, including Exchange Online , SharePoint , Teams , and identity/security configurations (Azure AD, MFA, Conditional Access).

• Performance & Reliability Engineering
  Monitor and enhance system performance, availability, and disaster recovery strategies for critical applications and services.

• Incident & Problem Management
  Lead incident response , conduct root-cause analysis , and implement preventive measures to minimize downtime and improve reliability.

• Automation & Optimization
  Develop scripts and leverage tools for infrastructure automation , configuration management, and deployment pipelines.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  Partner with network, security, and application teams to deliver robust, secure, and compliant cloud solutions aligned with business objectives.

• Experience : 7+ years in systems engineering , cloud infrastructure , or related roles within enterprise environments.
• Cloud Expertise : Hands-on experience with Azure and AWS , including compute, storage, networking, and security services.
• Enterprise Platforms : Strong knowledge of Office 365 administration , integration, and security best practices.
• Networking & Virtualization : Solid understanding of TCP/IP , DNS , VPN , firewalls , VMware , and Hyper-V .
• Automation Skills : Proficiency in PowerShell , Terraform , or similar tools for infrastructure as code.
• Distributed Systems : Familiarity with cloud-native architectures , microservices , and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Industry Knowledge : Logistics experience is a plus but not mandatory.
