Summary Of Duties The Supply Chain Analyst is part of the Supply Chain team, in which we work together on the development, reporting and maintaining an accurate forecast and stock level holding for the EMEA organisation. Main Tasks
Generate measurement systems and reports designed to measure and improve forecast accuracy
Review and analyse inventory and inventory plans, and determine appropriate levels of stock
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to establish forecasts, including sales promotions and product launches
Identify and monitor inventory in all facilities and recommend plans to use up, relocate, or scrap
Identify and monitor reasons for backordered items, and provide backorder updates to Sales and Marketing
Prioritize allocation and assign freight upgrade of backordered items once products are available
Monitor air and ocean shipments for on time delivery
Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturing teams, suppliers, and internal customers
Providing advanced support in the coordination of product availability in line with the Business Supply Chain strategies and processes
Required Skills & Competencies
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Logistics/ Supply Chain or relevant working experience
3 to 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management in an international environment
Outstanding analytical skills with attention to detail, and ability to work with complex reports
Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills and the ability to work well with others from different departments and locations of the Merit organisation
Ability to work under strict time constraints and meet deadlines in a timely manner
Computer literacy (MS office, excel and preferably Oracle and Blue Yonder)
Excellent command of English language
Understanding of End-to-End Supply Chain processes including KPIs
