Technical Inspector Mechanical

In this role, you are responsible for the technical management, maintenance, and inspection of large offshore vessels and their mechanical installations. You work closely with Technical Superintendents, support dockings and modification projects, and ensure that vessels comply with all international regulations. In addition, you actively contribute to sustainable improvements and technical innovation across the fleet.

Key responsibilities:

• Organise, plan, and supervise repair and maintenance activities for assigned vessels
• Perform technical inspections and ensure compliance with IMO, class, and flag state regulations
• Manage technical projects, including planning, budgeting, and documentation
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders such as yards, suppliers, and classification societies
• Initiate and evaluate improvements and sustainable technologies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in the offshore, shipbuilding, construction, or dredging industry
• Knowledge of international regulations (IMO, classification societies, flag state)
• Strong command of the English language and willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time
