Multiple Freelance Java Engineers Needed – New Team

Start Date: January 2026

Contract: Initial 6–12 months

Rate: €60–€65 per hour (depending on experience)

Location: North Brabant, Netherlands (2-3 days per week onsite)

QSR is supporting a prestigious Netherlands-based client with their recruitment for a brand-new team and have multiple openings for skilled Java Engineers (freelance) . Roles are available for:

• Frontend Development
• Backend Development
• Full Stack Development

You would be joining a product development team to tackle challenges in map delivery for autonomous vehicles . You’ll design and maintain map compilers, contribute to architecture and requirements, and ensure secure, high-quality code in a cloud-first, distributed environment . This will involve working on algorithmic and mathematical problems, collaborating across teams in an agile setup , and helping to improve development practices while meeting product SLAs.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong Java development experience (5+ years' experience), including Spring and Maven
• Experience building & maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in distributed/microservices architectures
• Expertise in either frontend, backend (cloud computing, kubernetes, microservices), or full stack
• Fluent English
