Electrical Technician

We’re looking for a skilled Electrical Technician to maintain and optimize complex power systems at a major energy facility in the Netherlands. In this role, you’ll combine hands-on technical work with project responsibilities, from daily maintenance to leading sections of large-scale overhauls.

You’ll work with high-voltage installations up to 380kV, alongside a multidisciplinary team of electrical, C&I, telecom, mechanical, and production specialists.

What You’ll Do

• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on high- and low-voltage installations (up to 380kV).
• Lead or support overhaul projects as point of contact or sub-project leader.
• Carry out inspections, testing, and fault analysis on HV/LV equipment.
• Apply safe working principles (“Safe Five”) to ground and secure installations.
• Participate in a standby rotation (1 week every 6 weeks).

What We’re Looking For

• Education: MBO/MTS level 3/4 or HBO in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Certifications: NEN3140 and NEN3148 (High Voltage).
• Solid experience in an industrial HV/LV environment .
• Team player with flexibility to shift between maintenance and project work.
• Able to work across different sites (Diemen main base, plus Amsterdam & Almere).
• Must be proficient in Dutch and English on a professional level.
