Freelance Software Engineer - Java & Android Espresso

Start Date: 1st January 2026

Contract: 9 months initially (covering sabbatical)

Rate: €60–€65 per hour (depending on experience)

Location: North Brabant, Netherlands (2-3 days per week onsite)

QSR is supporting a prestigious Netherlands-based client with their recruitment for a brand-new team and have an exciting opening available for a skilled Software Engineer with experience in Java and Android Espresso.

You would be joining a product development team to tackle challenges in map delivery for autonomous vehicles, contributing to performance and process improvements.

What we’re looking for:

• Recent experience using Android Espresso
• Java development experience, including Spring and Maven
• Experience building & maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in distributed/microservices architectures
• Fluent English
