What Will You Do?
As Lead Instrumentation Engineer, you’ll head up a team of engineers and designers working on greenfield Automation and Telecommunication systems. Your role spans from high-level planning to the hands-on delivery of detailed engineering documentation and testing.
- Lead and mentor a team of instrumentation engineers and designers
- Oversee engineering deliverables: cable lists, block and layout diagrams, termination plans, hook-up drawings, loop diagrams, and more
- Guide specification development and technical bid evaluations (TBE)
- Manage and lead Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for systems including SCADA/DCS, Fire & Gas detection, and Telecom (CCTV, PAGA, LAN, WiFi, radio)
- Ensure integration with HV substation systems and align with project standards
What Do You Bring?
- Proven leadership experience in instrumentation engineering
- Strong hands-on background in greenfield automation and telecom detailed engineering
- In-depth knowledge of HV substation design and system integration
- Experience preparing technical specs, leading TBEs, and managing FATs
- Skilled in creating and reviewing instrumentation deliverables across all project phases
