Location: Remote

We are hiring Material Science Experts to support a high-impact AI project focused on creating advanced, real-world problem sets for cutting-edge language models. This flexible, fully remote contract role pays $75–$85/hour .

What You’ll Do:

• Create, solve, and review challenging materials science problems
• Apply deep domain expertise to strengthen AI training data
• Collaborate asynchronously with a team of subject matter experts

What Makes You a Great Fit:

• Master’s or PhD in Material Science from a leading US university
• Experience with Python or MATLAB
• Background in semiconductor materials or molecular modeling
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• High proficiency in English
• Based in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, UK, or Australia

Role Details:

• Starts in late December, rolling application review
• 15–20 hours/week with potential to increase
• Fully remote and asynchronous
• Short domain interview included
• Paid for up to 1 hour of onboarding if hired
• Weekly payments via Stripe Connect
• Hourly contractor classification
