Integrity Engineer

Your challenges, team & focus:

As a (Senior) Integrity Engineer, you independently carry out investigations during the course of projects. You ensure that investigations are carried out in accordance with the Smart-AIS quality system ISO 9001.

You conduct investigations according to schedule and agreed arrangements. As a medior, you deliver reports in the AIMS system.

Your work is mainly at our Schiedam office, but when needed you are also often present at client sites in the Rotterdam Botlek region. Occasionally, you may also have to work elsewhere in the Netherlands or abroad, both onshore and offshore. This will be on average between 4 and 12 times per year for short periods (maximum 2 weeks).

What do you ‘bring to the table’?

  • You have at least 1 year of experience in one or more NDT techniques;
  • You possess at least MBO working and thinking level;
  • Minimum qualification level 2 in accordance with ISO 9712 in one or more Non-Destructive Testing techniques;
  • Possibly qualification level 3 in accordance with ISO 9712 in one or more Non-Destructive Testing techniques;
  • NOGEPA, BOSIET, S-CAPE and CA-EBS training or willing to obtain them in the short term;
  • VCA VOL certified or willing to renew or obtain this in the short term.

Additionally, …

  • You have a flexible attitude. You do not mind being on the road for several days, both domestically and internationally;
  • You are enthusiastic, eager to learn, and motivated to learn new things;
  • Proficiency in the English and DUtch language is a must;
  • You have a category B driving license;
  • You are a team player who can work well with colleagues.
