Technical Consultant
The Infor Technical Consultant is responsible for supporting the implementation, configuration, integration, and testing of Infor M3 and Infor OS solutions across customer environments. The role focuses on designing and delivering robust technical integrations, EDI connections, and IDM configurations that enable efficient data flows and stable system operations. Working both independently and in collaboration with different teams, the consultant applies foundational technical expertise to solve business problems, optimize processes, and contribute to successful project outcomes. This position plays a key role in ensuring continuity, maintaining solution quality, and supporting smooth cloud migrations, new implementations, and internal standardization initiatives. A Day in the Life Typically Includes * Designing and developing integrations within Infor OS and between external or non-ERP applications.
* Implementing and maintaining EDI connections, mappings, and document exchanges.
* Configuring and supporting Infor Document Management (IDM) document templates and workflows.
* Troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring stable, scalable system integrations.
* Providing technical documentation, guidance, and training to developers and end users.
* Contributing to full project lifecycles, including solution design, estimation, implementation, and post-go-live support.
* Deliver daily technical support to customers, resolving issues and ensuring system stability. Required Skills * Experience designing and supporting integrations in Infor OS (ION, ION API, MEC) or similar integration platforms.
* Understanding of EDI standards, document flows, and connectivity methods.
* Hands-on experience with Infor extensibility tools such as H5 Script, XtendM3, or equivalent technologies.
* Ability to analyze technical requirements and translate them into maintainable, scalable solutions.
* Proficiency in troubleshooting system and integration issues across multiple environments.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical- and functional stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications * Familiarity with Infor M3 technical consulting, integrations, or extensibility frameworks.
* Bonus points for experience configuring IDM document templates or workflows.
* Familiarity with API management, data transformation, or cloud integration concepts.
* Any combination of relevant certifications in Infor technologies or cloud integration platforms.
* Familiar with the EDIFACT standards for Retail.
* Familiarity with APIs (REST, SOAP) and database concepts.
