The Role:

We are looking for a IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic Technology team. This position blends technical support, equipment management, and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate will deliver first-line technical assistance, oversee IT hardware, and support the Digital Director and Head of Technology in developing our Information Security Management System (ISMS).

What am I going to be responsible for?

Technical Support

  • Provide first-line technical support to employees through the JIRA ticketing system.
  • Diagnose and resolve a range of IT issues, including login difficulties, software errors, and hardware failures.
  • Troubleshoot laptop-related issues such as hardware faults, software problems, and network connectivity challenges.
  • Triage and prioritise incoming support tickets and manage them effectively within the system.
  • Escalate more complex issues to the appropriate teams when necessary.
  • Maintain clear, accurate, and up-to-date documentation of all support interactions.

Equipment Management

  • Oversee the lifecycle of IT equipment, including laptops, printers, and peripherals.
  • Coordinate the procurement, deployment, and disposal of IT assets.
  • Assist with the setup, configuration, and distribution of new equipment for employees.

ISMS Support

  • Support the Digital Director in maintaining and updating ISMS documentation.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of information security policies and procedures.

What will you bring?

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and communication skills, strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, and a solid basic understanding of computer hardware and software. They should be able to prioritise tasks effectively, manage their time well, and maintain a high level of attention to detail and organisation. Strong proficiency in both English and Dutch is essential. Desirable qualities include previous experience in a helpdesk or technical support role, familiarity with the ITIL framework, experience working with ticketing systems, and a basic understanding of information security principles.
