Senior Planner

A client of ours, based in Nijmegen, is looking for a part time Senior Planner (3 days per week) to start as soon as possible, with an initial requirement until Q1 2027.

Cost and schedule management

• Develop and update the Project Controls Plan
• Manage the commercial interfaces between the project team/contractors including contract administration
• Ensure that the contractors’ Project Controls Systems are capable of meeting our client’s requirements and ensure that cost control techniques and tools are adequately and properly implemented
• Implement project controls and financial accounting procedures and systems, project controls training and (kick-off) workshops for project management team and/ or contractor
• Produce all project control deliverables and reports on a periodic basis, including but not limited to cost reports, cash flow, change logs & process, risk registers and other items as defined within the Project Controls & Project Management Plans and complete the Monthly Project Status Report.
• Facilitate the Change Management Process
• Serve as reviewer of invoices and in the approval flow for purchase requisitions.
• Ensure all project costs, contracts and related project services documents are organized, maintained and project audit ready.

Project Planner

• Working as directed by the site-based planning lead
• Provide oversight of the current project portfolio to ensure schedules and timelines are met.
• Provide project planning (scheduling) support to the project team and participate in project meetings to provide status and updates.
• Manage project schedules in accordance with the project work breakdown structure and ensure that project schedules are developed. Assure that project plans are regularly updated and within levels of certainty to allow effective monitoring, forecasting and control.
• Ensuring that project schedules conform to the Change Control Process, in terms of liaison, communication and calculation of change notes and change orders.
• Assuring that project plans are regularly updated and within levels of certainty to allow effective monitoring, forecasting and control.
• Ensure that standard Project Planning requirements are met, understood and embedded from both Contractors and Sub-Contractors into the project systems.
• Producing planning reports for input into the monthly reporting process.
