Your Role In Our Story In essence, your role involves

Leading and managing the trading of biomethane quotas, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies to expand our impact.
Providing expert insights and staying ahead of legal and market developments related to biomethane quotas and renewable energy.
Maximizing revenue from biomethane trading by leveraging our existing network and spotting new market opportunities.
Supporting the registration process with environmental authorities, facilitating seamless trading transactions.
Collaborating closely with the trading team, aligning on strategy, and sharing valuable market intelligence.

Your Expertise To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes

Fluency in both German and English.
A Bachelor’s/Master's, preferably in Business, Economics, or Finance.
0-3 years’ experience in emissions trading, renewable energy certificates, or related environmental commodities.
Willing to learn about and develop a niche industry.
Persistent, Ambitious and Energetic.

Nice To Have

Understanding of the Fuel Quality Directive (FQD) and biomethane quota regulations.
Exceptional analytical skills and comfort with complex regulatory details.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member.
