More About The Role This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Internship on Cyber Security Architecture with Signify in Eindhoven . Security architecture play an important role for Signify to ensure that information protection and information security are fundamental properties included by default and as early as possible in the design process ('shift-left mindset'). This not only applies to Enterprise IT, Product IT and Manufacturing IT/OT but also to the security function itself, who typically employ an extensive set of security solutions addressing things like identity and access management, detection and response, vulnerability management and penetration testing. However, such solutions tend to be loosely coupled where detection and correlation of security events happens indirectly. New architecture concepts are arising where security solutions are deeply integrated and form a mesh architecture. One of the concepts here is Cyber Security Mesh Architecture. The internship will focus on this concept to evaluate its usefulness and develop a future architecture based on this concept. What You’ll Do We expect the following tasks will be executed as part of the internship.

Obtain good understanding of the mesh architecture concept thru research and literature study.
Understand the current architecture and its limitations by interviews, etc
Document the current architecture, preferably using ArchiMate as language
Create a new target architecture based on the mesh concept and document it in ArchiMate
Present new architecture to stakeholders and process their feedback
Find a way to publish and share the architecture to a broad internal audience
Document all work done and do an end-presentation to the security management team.

Your Qualifications While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening: We're looking for a candidate with a cyber security background or a background on the interplay between business and information security on an academic or comparable level. The assignment will be in the domain of IT architecture, more specifically on security architecture. We Appreciate

A background in Cyber and / or Information security, IT, Computer Science, Computer engineering, or any other related field.
Being able to think on a conceptual, abstract level, as the architectures we're looking for are on capability and interoperability level, so more on a strategic / tactical level rather then on an operational level
Act as a team player and be 'greater together' as you'll need to collaborate with different stakeholder on various levels.
Good communication skills and affinity with graphic design will help bringing the message across to the different stakeholder.
